Title: Hot professors -- good or bad for your education?
Post by: border on January 30, 2007, 11:04:54 PM
On assignments I tend to be more active in class if I'm attracted to my teacher, so as to impress her (for some stupid reason).  I tend to pay more attention to lecture, but occasionally  just sort of zone out as my weird fantasies play out in my head.

I also tend to respect them less, expect them not to ask challenging questions on exams, and expect them to have lower standards for papers.....so I tend not to study as much and go for the easy by-the-book answers with little analysis.

Do you think it's better to have a teacher you respect or a teacher you desire?

I don't have this problem as most of my profs have beards. Which I personally think is hot, don't get me wrong.

Respect. The best teachers are ones that push you and reward you for being creative and thinking outside the box.

The best professors are the ones who you can respect and who respect you.

Unless they like teaching. Or have been in the industry for years only to "retire" into teaching.

She was so sex. Like, imagine the stereotypical "hot teacher" and that was her. I wanted to bend her over the desk and earn my A.

I had perfect attendance.

I haven't had a 'hot' teacher yet. I've had certainably attractive teachers, but not like to the point where I thought of them as hot.
