I might be biased but it has to be Blücher.
Dude retires and comes back at age 71 to beat Napoleon in Leipzig. Retires again and returns 2 years later to help defeat Napoleon in Waterloo. It's basically the plot of Lethal Weapon.

Jean Bernadotte is pretty funny. At a certain point in the era Sweden invited him to be their king even though he wasn't Swedish because Sweden is a 100% real country, then he aligned against Napoleon at Leipzig and did imperialism in Scandinavia. His "house" is still the Swedish royal house. :lol
