It took my kid until he was 18 months before he would sleep through the night. It was seriously almost driving me and the wife to divorce.
I started taking trazadone a while ago. I used to never dream and now I have real weird fucked up but extremely vivid dreams. Kind of cool and scary at the same time.

Try alcohol or synthetic tryptophan. Tryptophan is good for getting asleep but not keeping you asleep. There are CBD options for staying asleep that are relatively inexpensive.

I started taking CBD drops along with trazadone this week. A couple of times I threw an IPA in there as well.

I havent had 6-8 hours sleep since the baby was born in november
Last night was like 4
Think its usualy between 4-6 for 3 months straight.
Tbf its just the first 6-12 months that are like this and youll end up missing the little baby things.

I think sleeping less than 3 hours is worse than getting no sleep at all. If I pull an all-nighter, my brain is usually functioning as normal until about noon. If I only get 2-3 hours of sleep it seems like I never wake up at all.

I saw a headline of an article I totally didn't read a few months ago about some study that was probably misquoted and certainly misinterpreted by the journalist that said getting less than five hours of sleep is almost as bad as not sleeping at all.
