If it's a Sega Saturn collection or a Sega Saturn Mini, I'll throw money at them so fast despite being in the middle of a global pandemic.

But the Saturn gets so little love, even from Sega, that I really doubt that's it.

Game Gear had a seriously underappreciated library (check out the fan translation of Sylvan Tale sometime!)... unfortunately there's no way my carpal tunnel + declining olddddd man eyesight would be able to play on that. I'm waiting for the Analog Portable, especially the GG output. I've looked into having an acquaintance of mine (who does retro hardware repair/mods) modding my OG Game Gear into having TV output but that's quite expensive.

It's well documented at this point just how much of a failure Sega's top brass was then. Shit is bewildering to look back on.

A lot of this was due to Sega USA and Japan being very separate entities at the time and doing their own things.  That was some really stupid shit.

Nomad was fucking awesome, though- Pretty much the Switch of its generation, right down to the TV hookups.  I played the shit out of it....with an AC adapter.  LOL batteries on that thing.
