One thing that occurred to me while listening to this is that I do prefer the running order of the leaked version, maybe it’s just because thats how I first heard it, but it just seems to make sense having the title track towards the end, so you already have a sense of why she is an extraordinary machine rather than having it right out front as track #1.

I just realized today that Idler Wheel was the last album I bought, and likely the last one I’ll ever buy. I was still using ipods and iTunes way back then.

 Sometimes I forget how weird it is to wake up one morning and this new album of music you’ve been waiting for is magically waiting on your streaming service.

That pitchfork review had me worried because it was so gushing. It was almost embarrassing how they carried on. But it deserves it.

Look at Dylan. He was revered by an entire generation of music fans and critics, but he never did anything for me. I could only recognize his genius when others sang his songs. I just couldn’t connect with his voice or stylings. That doesn’t negate who he is/was to millions of ppl.
