What if I put vinegar on it, toss some dill on, wrap it in foil and throw it in the oven? I may need to use to Tony Chachere as well. I have no idea if vinegar goes well with Salmon. This is a complete shot in the dark.

I whipped out some cooking wine, slathered that sum bitch on the pink ol fishie, seasoned with Tony Chachere, and added dill as garnish. And by garnish I mean a fuck ton.

Let's hope it turns out well because damn.

Only times I tried cooking fish were once I did a halibut with miso reduction that was -okay- tasting (but my ex hated it), and the second time shrimp on the grill which came out much too rubbery. I guess if you have a grill throw it on there?

You said fish, you didn't specify that it was salmon! In that case, I change my recommendation.

I think that if the need arises to make mayonnaise, always use cage-free eggs.

That could be fairly applied metaphorically in most aspects of life.

Some salt, garlic, rosemary, a dash of white wine and lemon is everything you need for fish.
Reheated fish is never good anyway though.

salmon becomes dry easily when not cooked properly and that’s probably the main reason it didn’t taste good.

I wouldn't recommend reheating salmon.

Salmon is best eaten fresh and rare or fried as a fillet. It doesn't need a lot of other ingredients as BisMarckie mentioned.
Eating poorly prepared Salmon and reheating it is sure to be a highway to the toilet zone.

Reheating it seems like something he would slap the fuck out of you for, so forget that

If your salmon isn't tasty, it's probably shite to begin with so not salvageable.

I know I’m late to the party but for future reference here is the way to fix any fish. Especially baked fish which can come out of the oven smelling like a water treatment plant if you don’t know what your are doing.

Tablespoon of butter in a pan. Mince some garlic and place into pan. Turn the stove on to medium heat, watching butter melt making sure it’s not to hot (the butter will burn and turn brown, you don’t want that, but you do want butter to be simmering. This is the only part that takes any amount of focus) once your butter is simmering with the garlic, add a pinch of salt. Put the fish in the pan. Now, tilt the pan so that all of the melted butter pools to one side. Make sure that butter is simmering! Take a spoon and shovel that shit over the fish. Continue doing this for 5 min (if the fish is cooked and you’re trying to save it) holding the pan at an angle and shoveling that garlic butter over the top.

You seriously can’t fuck this up and it produces amazing fish, every time.

Salmon is really the only fish I cook regularly. Buy some fresh thyme, rosemary, garlic, and ginger. Heat your pan, add some olive oil, wait for it to heat, and then add your salmon. Make sure you season it a bit beforehand; bit of salt, black pepper, maybe some Mrs Dash. As you cook it, put a stem of the thyme and rosemary on top of the salmon; each time you flip the fish, put the thyme and rosemary on top of whichever side is facing up.

Add some garlic and ginger into the pan while you're cooking the salmon, with some butter. Stir the garlic and ginger around so it doesn't burn. You're basically creating a garlic/ginger/butter sauce, and then use a spoon to baste that sauce on top of your salmon.

Plate your food when done, and then squeeze some lime or lemon on top. Maybe have some crispy pan fried/sauteed potatoes ready for a side, and some broccoli or whatever vegetable you prefer. Shit just works, brehs and brehettes.

:rage

Never ever flip fish more than once in the pan. Sear the side without the skin for about 30 seconds and then leave it on the skin side for the entire time without touching it. Baste with butter every couple  of minutes.
