Yeah but it's a low and slow melt, like a piece of chocolate you left in a car. After a while its just kind of sludge inside of a wrapper, and it can't really melt any more but just squishes around inside plastic.

I have secured myself short term by getting 3 months of mortgage payments bumped to the end of loan, but I’m totally reliant on my unemployment insurance continuing to pay, and as I outlined elsewhere, Oregon’s system may screw me this weekend. I’ve tried calling A LOT to really get an idea how I should handle it per the unemployment office, always a busy signal. I have enough money to live off for at least a month or two even if it gets tied up, so I recognize I’m still in a quite privileged position, but without knowing how I’m going to fund my living in a few months, I find myself unable to just sit and enjoy things.

Gonna go for a lil drive today to a secluded self service gas station in the forest just to unwind a little. Also been putting aggression into working out so that’s kinda helpful too I guess
