He was already clownshoes by the end of the Cell Saga, then Super just upped it to another level. He may or may not have started the trend of idiot shonen protags but he's the worst one.

You did this to yourself. I liked all the fuckery TBH.
I really enjoyed super, but that was after getting my ass blasted for a good few years watching GT....
So I think anything that took away that as cannon I was gonna give the benefit of the doubt, Goku is just a powerful child that just wants to prove how strong he is, Vegeta is the real MVP.

I like Dragonball. :) The original pre-Z manga is the best, but it's still fun to watch.

:confused isnt this typical of any superhero esque story? The problem isn't with goku, it's with the varying quality of the content until goku saves the day. Namek good, buu/super bad.

It should have ended after Freeza and blah blah blah. Dragonball Z's problem is that it's kind of the same storyline repeating itself with the Freeza, Cell, and Buu arcs. Super got off to a rocky start, but at least has kept things more interesting with its storylines. The big universe tournament even let everyone get a chance to shine.

i always wanted piccolo to become a super namek or some shit and not be a complete weakling post freiza :stahp
i've not seen anything post dragon ball z besides that freiza return film and rabbit man mega gawd ones on netflix though :yeshrug
