Title: Is 5 Guys actually safe?

Those fries are to die for but is that burger really worth six bucks?

The buns are shit. Especially if you go nearly "Everything on it."

Literally get soggy in two minutes right after the meat is put on them.

It's a $6-8 burger that's maybe 10% "better" than In-N-Out's $3 burger.

Their fries are better though.

If you love oil and fat, you’ll love five guys. Their burgers and fries are drenched in it.

I just go a "local"/regional chain that is nearly as much as Five Guys but whose buns don't crumble from a stiff meat. :doge

Plus, I can get an Impossible Meat burger for like $10-12 combo'd there compared to non-Impossible Five Guys.

I will say that Five Guys isn't horrible but it's extremely overpriced for the quality you get.

If it was Five Guys and the national fast-food chains, though: I'd probably go Five Guys if I had no other choice over McDonalds/etc.

Safe or not, it's kind of impressive that they run an entire global restaurant chain with only five employees. I guess automation really has come a long way.

I like five guys. Their Cajun fries with some malt vinegar on top are good. Their burgers with a whole mess of toppings are good.

However, for the price I honestly think McDonald’s is really solid. A McDouble and a small fry is normally like $2 in the app or something stupid low like that.

I've been thinking about it and, the only burger I've ever eating from mcdonalds is the regular one.  It's been like 65 years that I've been eating mcdonalds.

Their burgers are kinda flavorless and lacking in meat...
The fries are delicious but I always overeat and then they sit in my stomach like a big ball of congealed grease.

There are definitely better local options for fast and/or 'gourmet' burgers so I don't really eat there much.

I can't eat fast food burgers in general. other fast food stuff like fries and chicken sandwiches are fine, fancy restaurant burgers are good, fast food burgers =  :yuck

Man I fucking love Five Guys. Might be because we don't have many other burger chains over here, but their burgers are fucking killer and the cajun fries are gorgeous. They have Brooklyn as well, which although I wouldn't normally drink it, goes great with a burger. My kid's a sucker for their hotdogs too and she's a bastard to please.

My only problem is that it's about twice the price of equivalents once I've sorted the order out properly.
