The scientists said global warming was “very likely” caused by human activity, a phrase that translates to a more than 90 percent certainty that it is caused by man’s burning of fossil fuels. That was the strongest conclusion to date, making it nearly impossible to say natural forces are to blame.
It also said no matter how much civilization slows or reduces its greenhouse gas emissions, global warming and sea level rise will continue on for centuries.
“Warming of the climate system is unequivocal, as is now evident from observations of increases in global average air and ocean temperatures, widespread melting of snow and ice, and rising global mean sea level,” the scientists said.

He'll probably use the "very likely" against them spouting "we don't have any definitive proof, I'm commited to new energy sources (as soon as the wells dry up) and continue to look for new ways to ween off ME oil dependancy (hands Saudi prince fat oil check). He'll also take things out of contest. Then he'll get that weird smirk on his face and make fart noises saying, "This is what cows do to our environment." Don't underestimate the power of cow farts, or his smirk, it frightens the sturdiest of men.

I think the main point is we're gonna suffer consequences even if we cut emissions, but there is a chance after 200 years, if we DO cut emissions, maybe the consequences will stop.
I've considered buying one of those econ cars but god damn if the latest ford mustang isnt a sexy beast.

The thing is they're holding back because of oil companies and a lack of consumer pressure to make a decent eco-friendly car. It can be done but I don't know if they'd risk it right yet. It needs to really really be talked up first.

eeh companies are starting to come around, the big ones too, and there are actually a lot of hybrids on the roads, at least in the greater seattle area, they dont cost that much.
There isnt a car manufacturer out there that's going to make some wonder car, the best we can do for now is hybrid, waiting for anything better is just stalling. I however want a mustang so lol.
Its really just about the govt saying NAH ITS COOL and companies saying 'WELL IF U SAY SO LOL'.
