Title: Fuck black friday
Post by: james on November 27, 2020, 10:30:26 PM: It sucked this year. First time in a decade I didn't get my half off sneakers because I'm not about to go to a store. Deals in general were lackluster. I picked up luigis mansion for 30 and nothing else

But Arrow has just released Flash Gordon, Vinegar Syndrome released Beastmaster, and Shout Factory has Prince of Darkness coming soon, so there’s hope for the format yet. :lawd

- Path of the Warrior (a Streets of Rage type first person VR game)
- Stormland (a highly rated Insomniac VR game)

Sadly I missed out on a 4k copy of Top Gun :'(
I'm also looking at some Steam thingies still. Might pick-up Death Stranding.
Thought about picking up Watch Dogs or Star Wars Squadrons too but those will hit GamePass soon enough.

This year there weren't that many great deals overall. In some cases just 5% or 10% off.
Most popular items like Switch (Lite), PS5 were going to sell out anyway.
Also no deals on robot vacuum cleaners they only got more expensive :hmph

Meanwhile I got myself some Vinegar Syndrome titles I was holding out on and a few new releases to go along with my Beastmaster order. Debating about doing the yearly package.

Trying not to spend money at the big chains/websites. Hitting up a few small businesses today to support them.

I think Microsoft flat out stopped making the 1X a while ago so if you want one you might be out of luck aside from the second hand market. :doge PS4 Pro ought to be at least $300 right now for sure if it isn't already.
