There was this one time when I was 11.  I was living with my dad at the time and my mom lived in El Paso.  She came to Tennessee to visit for a week.

Well, my dad said he had a doctor's appointment that day and he was going to be home late.  So I came home from school and noticed a few things missing in the living.  Picture etc.  So I decided to check his bedroom.  All his clothes and personal stuff was gone.  On the counter was an envelope with 2 copies of the house key, a check for 20 dollars (on an account that he closed.  WTF?!) and a letter saying that he wants to be left alone with his new wife and son. 

That was pretty cool.
