this is really nice of you, but sadly I wouldn't see myself playing this game anytime soon, too many other things I would prioritize before it  :cry

I'm in a mode for very long factory/automated games that let you listen to podcasts alongside them and you don't feel like you're missing out on a good story

I'll happily take that Switch code if you still have it. At this point I'll play pretty much any RPG on the Switch and this one is critically well received and reasonably short.

Basil is an important non-player character in Omori, with probably the most screentime of any NPC.

Console Exclusive Changes & Light Story Hints
My comments about Basil being an NPC may only apply to the base game depending on what the console-exclusive changes are, which got semi-leaked at the start of the year.

PS- Basil loves flowers and photos and I do too. He's probably my favorite character in the entire game, and not by a small amount.

Some people find him abhorrent, though. So make up your own mind. 🤷‍♂️

How's everyone enjoying the console version? :) Both my playthroughs so far I've sorta sputtered out trying to get through the Junkyard, but after I beat Attack.omo and Space Boyfriend I seem to get hooked, the story/writing suck me in, and the gameplay finds its footing. Beating Space Boyfriend without any party member dropping below 50% HP this time around gave me a satisfying jolt of pride, I gotta say. And the amount of strategy involved just keeps getting deeper as the game goes on, staying traditional but still definitely doing its own thing. I've never liked turn-based RPGs but this makes a compelling case for the genre in my book.

I downloaded it on the Xbox, but I haven't really played it much yet. Just played through the first area (playground) and did the tutorial battle.
