Title: Work going away 'party'

One of my co-workers just told me to keep my schedule open at lunch time next Friday for a going away party. During the day? That means no beer, ugh. I hate going to this kind of thing too, I feel so uncomfortable.
Also she said 'wear something warm'  ??? ??? What do you think we'll be doing? Picnic in the snow?
