???
Revolutions was worse than Reloaded. Easily.
-
Reloaded had some good scenes, even if they were utterly ridiculous and stupidly long. I think the car chase makes it top Revolutions. The car chase was dope imo, it had the best fight in the sequels, Morpheus vs agent on top of the truck. The only fight in the movie in league with any of the fights in the original.
Revolutions is bad solely for Trinity's death scene. I screamed at the screen,"Just die bitch!" for serious.
I voted the cg sucked.
-
Reloaded was almost good. I think a fan edit could make it into a very good movie. It just needs some fat trimmed.
-
reloaded. I came into revolutions expecting ABSOLUTELY nothing, wheres I had high hopes for reloaded and it cruched my dreams.
-
Revolutions was pretty horrible.
Himuro is pretty spot on with his assessment.
I also voted CG sucked.
-
revolutions by far.
-
Trinity wouldn't fucking die. I swear they were talking for like 5 minutes.
-
reloaded. I came into revolutions expecting ABSOLUTELY nothing, wheres I had high hopes for reloaded and it cruched my dreams.
Nah, Reloaded was about what I expected. I knew they were going to put all that ridiculous story in there and I didn't mind. Revolutions was like one really long stupid fight scene.
TVC: I completely agree. I still like Reloaded. I just stop paying attention on certain parts. They tried to fit too much shit in there.

The animatrix is where its at :bow
-
I remember arguing with Ed during band class once. I said,"They couldn't possibly fuck it up dude. It's the Matrix."
I was wrong. As per usual, Ed was right.
-
The animatrix is where its at :bow
Agreed. :bow
-
I have the 40 dollar ultimate super dooper collection. The digital transfer of the original is ace :D

I'm going to buy it tonight. :D I shouldn't, I should just wait for the HD DVD or Blu Ray release. But I can't.

Animatrix is non sensical clap trap made from my pubes at the height of their itchyness. The only good Animatrix was the one where they show how machines lost control and how they were supposed to be obedient. I think it was called Second Renaissance but whatever. Animatrix was just as disappointing as the sequels.
-
what's worse: puke or poo?
poo because it is fully digested where puke still has some yummy food left in it.
-
Wow you suck himuro.
-
If they made Animatrix one long feature it would have been pretty good I'm sure.
-
But then it wouldnt have such varied talents and different visual styles.
-
mupepe: dont wait, its a sweet fuckin package for 40 bucks. I like all three movies and the animatrix, course I didnt go in expecting some deep shit.
-

ok, one good cohesive story with one good style or a bunch of shorts with on and off style?
-

Mind Game has different visual styles.
Who cares about the supposed talent if this talent was unable to bring together plots that made sense and held weight?

:D It's so mine tonight. I've been holding off on this for a while because I can't stand Revolutions. But I'm doing it.

Id take the shorts each with their own little story.

I havent seen mind game, but the plot of the the various stories on the animatrix make sense to me. They filled in various moments before/between the main movies. And they all rocked with their own style. :bow
-
They should re-release the first film already with the new transfer. I'd buy the ultimate collection, but I could never justify paying money for the meh follow-ups and the lame "Animatrix" shit.
-
I agree with Himuro on the Amimatrix. I've only seen it once, maybe I'd like it again this time. But I doubt it. It was pretty shitty.
-
Shake: Im actually surprised they havent released the first with the new transfer, the difference in quality is so nuts it would sell a lot of copies. A LOT of people consider the story ended with the first movie.
Not me tho, I love me some corny action crap.
-
Plus, the green color scheme works better than the purple of the original transfer. :gloomy
-
haha, god it looks so CLEAN now
-
I want to vote, I really do...but I can't because they both sucked hard in their own ways. Thusly, I abstain from this vote. I still can't believe they screwed it up.
-
I actually really liked Reloaded, by-and-large. It was nuts, but it was good crazy-go-nuts. I liked that it introduced all these new factions and weird rules about how the Matrix works and so on and so forth.
Revolutions was guttingly awful, in comparison. And boring.
-
reloaded got a thumbs down for the weird sex/rave potbellied morpheus scene, but I just skip past that part now. To ME the movie starts when he first goes to visit the oracle at the basketball court.

Totally. The whole offerings shit that goes on is soooooo stupid. Plus, the 1000 smith fight scene is awesome. Fuck the haters. The CGI might be awful, but it is well choreographed. When he pulls the pole up and starts beating them, you can't help but get excited
-
The third movie was horrible. Fucking piece of shit. At least the 2nd one had good fight scenes.
-
I just imagine that after the credits of the third movie, the machines dont obey their agreement and just destroy zion anyway.
-
The crazy ass shit that fanboys were speculating for the story was way more interesting than either of the 2 sequels =P
I'm gonna go with Reloaded though, it was really slow to start out with (though I'm the only one in the world I think who liked and appreciated the rave scene), but Revolutions was 10x as slow to start and the payoff in Revolutions wasn't nearly as good as it could've been. Revolutions seemed to drop too many character arcs and never resolved a lot of confusing plot threads.
