No charcoal for the grill tonight, but I do have that skillet with the grill lines. I wonder if that would work.Probably not the same taste, obviously. But I think it would work good enough. That's how I always cook mine anyways.
marinade them for a hour before you cook it if you choose to cook it on a grill. Thats my only tip for lamb.
Lamb is very soft meat its great stuff. I'd suggest buttery herb with garlic also get some rice pilaf
I've never had lamb what does it taste like? whats the texture like?
alligator
DELICIOUS. I prefer alligator meat to chicken even.
so I was going to make lamb chops for Nikki on Valentine's day, but she doesn't seem receptive to the idea.

So they turned out great for my first time ever eating lamb. I've never made it before ,so I don't know exactly how well done it's supposed to be. That being said, I made it medium rare or so, and they were DELICIOUS.
Here's what I did:
* Took a big ziplock bag, and put in a mixture of lemon juice and italian dressing. I didn't measure, but it was probably a few tablespoons of each. Enough to put a light coat on the bottom of my chops when I marinated it.
* To the italian dressing / lemon jiuce mix I added some Garlic powder, Rosemary Leaves, Thyme Leaves, and ground sage. A few sprinkles of each, just to add some flavor.
* I stuck my 2 chops in there, and initially shook them up to get a nice light coating of the marinade. After that, I left them to marinate for like an hour and a half, flipping them over half way through.
I then just stuck them on my skilled for like 5.5 minutes or so per side, and were they ever fantastic. Best $3.50 I've spent in awhile.

Nope! I won't eat veal because it's a baby cow, and I'm not going to eat lamb because it's baby sheep. Baby animals are meant to be cute, not slaughtered.

Like you know where your meat is from in the first place

THAT'S TERRIBLE!
[But at least they're in the grass and not cooped up in a goddamn pen that restricts all their movement!]
