Title: late to the party: MGS2

I  picked up MGS2 used; should i bother playing it? I liked mgs1 and 3, even if they had some severe gameplay issues when it came to controls.

Please advise.

It's worth playing through for the story, especially if you want to be prepped for MGS4.

Wow thats awesome, I started playing, and boom the game keeps freezing at the "engine room" loading screen. Oh used games, how i hate you :(

MGS2 is a terrible game with a hilariously awesome story and characters.

Did you get substance?  MGS2 is my favorite metal gear.  Just be prepared for a crazy ride towards the end.  you'll probably need to play it 3 times to understand it.  lol.

MGS2 is my favorite game of last gen, and in my Top 10, maybe 5, of all time. I hated MGS3 though, and MGS1 is also a favorite, also a Top 5-er.
