Dude, I could sell an unpatched LCS copy on eBay for at least $40. USED.

Then I'll go buy those games anyway. Figure I'd put it out here in case anyone wanted to do the homebrew thing.

There's not a lot of original copies out there - they go for a pretty penny on eBay apparently. I even saw a Craigslist ad of some local dude willing to pay to just use it once and give it back after like, 30 seconds.

It's not like the system doesn't have enough sales problem as is, so you're going to make it worse. What's Sony's incentive for make PSP games, or third-parties for that matter? I'd use it for SNES/PSX emulators - nobody is going to be hurting from that.
