Title: Evilbore Computards: help me spec a laptop
Post by: Van Cruncheon on February 17, 2007, 10:30:45 PM
I want a small screen/form factor (12"-14.1" screen) laptop but with a non-embedded video chipset (has separate VRAM). Is there a laptop that meets these requirements?

do they make a decent gaming laptop that doesn't weigh a frickin' ton? the smaller, the better! i'd groove for a 12-13" with like even a 128 MB Geforce 7200Go.

You can pretty much customize the hell out of it, it's just expensive.

the 14.1" models only have nasty embedded grahics chipsets. :(  also, those cases: ugh!

not bad; how are the ASUS laptops for quality? the X1700 is appealing, for sure.

All I hear about ASUS laptops is good. I have an HP which isn't bad but I got integrated graphics which sucks so I'm buying a different one later this year.
