Title: Does anyone here play slide guitar?

Is it a lot different than normal guitar playing? Is it hard? I mean on a lap steel btw.

Anyone with any experience have much to say on the matter?

I used to dabble but I never was serious.  I didn't even have a slide.  I used a plastic cassette tape case, it created nearly the same sound with a strange echo over top, it was pretty cool  :-*
