Maruchan, ladies and gents, I'm not that classy.
Patel last night said it's probably just an abundance of soy flavoring; is that the taste of "oriental?" Isn't oriental a non-PC term these days, when used in such a general manner?
-
You know Patel in real life?
-
I don't fucking know, but it's good. I've always wanted to know this too. I guess I've been eating chink flavored ramen.

Soy is probably right. Or ping pong balls.

I always thought that was strange since Asian men have very little body hair.

Whatever it is, it has more ginger in it that your standard beef flavor.
But the bigger question is, why did people ever refer to people from Asia as "orientals"? i'm way too lazy to Wiki it.
-
They are from the 'Orient' which is what old people used for ASIA back in 1492 lol

It uses beef stock as well, so it's not really vegetarian. I found this out years after eating it regularly. :(
It's hard to find actual vegetarian ramen flavor. Well, the seasoning anyhow. I just tend to use soy sauce on my noodles now.

The chopped up/aborted/unwanted baby girls born in China. :D I'm smart.

Most vegetarians are that way just for 'the lifestyle' and the emotional merit badge.

This is true. However, I'm weird in a way- I was raised a vegetarian. Never really eaten meat except a couple times accidentally. So although I didn't make the choice initially, I suppose I decided at some point to continue not eating meat. I'm also very rarely sick, which is awesome although I don't know if it's because of my diet.

As long as a person gets protien from beans or something else meat isnt a HUGE issue. My problem is I LOVE meat.
