This is for psp for those not in the know.
Also how much am i gonna be able to put on a 2gb card. I saw one for 35 bucks at compusa.

Doesn't really matter who makes 'em - just buy the one most affordable for you.

It kinda does. I've heard the Sony one is really slow and the Sandisk one is the best.
I have the Sandisk 4 gb. I have like permanent SOTN.

I have a Sony and it's FINE.
-
I'm thinking of getting a 2gb one myself, for I can store more PS1 downloads from the PS Store.
-
I refuse to pay for PS1 downloads as long as you a) need a PS3 and b) keep releasing shitty games

Go big or go home.

Well, Sony is kind of going in order with their first party games (Going from the games released early to late). I don't know if there will be many 3rd party PS1 downloads in the end, because they are too cheap ($5.99 for PS1 downloads compared to the price of VC games is a steal). I already have a PS3, so it doesn't affect me any. :D I'll admit, it somewhat pushed me into getting a PS3 sooner.
Well, there's only a certain price I'd be willing to pay for a MS, which is why I wouldn't go really big (Could have gotten a 1GB with my PSP, but went with 512MB because of price).

4gb is better if your doing the pirating/mp3 player thing.
If not skip it.

No need for the mp3 player thing but i've not seen a cheap 4gb card yet. But i'm more concerned about read times and lag for iso's in game.

Dont waste your money on a "gaming" or "high speed" card as these are marketing ploys. trust me when I say it doesnt matter if the card is only for your psp.

Ok cool
how much can you store on a 2gb card?
and also how much video can you get on 2gb and 4gb cards
-
I can get good quality Heroes rips to about 250MB. That's like 42 minutes. Feature length DVDs are like 900MBs for me.
-
I think a 2gb can hold 1906mb after formatting. thats my guess, I dont remember the actual size.
video?
well lets say the average 25 min show is 90-240 mb depending on how you encode it. Depends on the quality you want.
so lets say 14 videos of around that size, maybe more maybe less

ok cool i'll just get two 2gb cards i guess. PSP should be here in a few days. I cant wait i already got MGSpo just waiting. I'm hoping video encoding is easy.
