I feel pretty horrible, because my neighbor worked on the film and she was so proud of it. She got to bond with Carrell and a lot of the cast, and was constantly telling me to go see it before it came out.
But I never did, suckers!

In a bad way? I wanted Departed to win but predicted LMS would pull a Crash like upset. I am glad it didn't.
Though Arkin deserved his oscar over Eddie, easily.

Arkin is the fucking man. His oscar was LONG overdo and he was very good. There are worse far worse films to get career oscars for.
Eddie Murphy is un-deserving of an Oscar and Mark Walberg is young and will have his chance again. There was no one more deserving than Arkin for that award.
