I plan on going to Belmont University down in Nashville for music business, since it's one of the best in the country for that particular major. I'd like to hear some personal opinions about it from anyone who's gone there, visited, or known friends who've gone there to help me decide whether or not Belmont is the right choice if I should just go for an in-state school for music business. Anyone?

Are you planning on going into A&R?
Never heard of the school.

No idea about the school, but it sounds like it would be an awesome course. Plus, if you go and do it in Nashville, you might get to meet country legends like Bobby Ogden and the Shit Creek Boys.

It's got a great music scene down there. By friend goes there and is in a blues band called the Attack!...they're pretty awesome sounding. He's met a bunch of pretty awesome music people down there too, like two or three Pixie members. He works at a record studio...sooo jealous.

Not sure yet, erally, all I know is that music business is the way I'd like to go. But artist and repertoire sounds pretty good. I'm going to look closely into the actual technical aspects of studio recording, as well.
