Best xbla game in months :bow
Its gorgeous, plays excellent and is only 800 ms points. What more can you ask for?
-
Did you play that Assault game, that rocked too. Alien Hominid is good tho, bought it tonight.
-
I was interested in it, I have 1000 ms points left. Ill try the demo.
-
its REALLY good, one of my favorites, that and heavy weapon
-
Alien Hominid HD is as hard as balls. I like it a ton. It's got character to boot. Can't wait for Castle Crashers.

Aside from the graphics, is it improved in any way over the PS2/GC versions?
-
Theres a bunch of minigames, some playable online. And single player co op. Were these in those versions?

it's not funny man. i'm really distraught. :-\

I just go out and buy the 1600 point card whenever I see something good to get. But I get what your saying.
-
Sony's system would be 'right' if there were games worth spending the points on ;)

The humor and art are terrific, but as a game, eh. You really just die a lot, and in-between dying you advance a little further. But value wise, fuck yeah. With the mini-games, you can get hours of use out of this for a slim $10.

Yeah, I really wanted to like the original, hell a unique run 'n gun in this day and age has to count for something, right? But I found myself dying way too frequently with cheap deaths (plus, the bullets were hard to see) and the control felt very loose, unlike a Contra or a Metal Slug. I was hoping these problems would be fixed in the XBLA version... I still should d/l the demo just for fun tho, been busy so haven't really had a chance.

single player coop only? eeh...
