The commercials with those cavemen are getting turned into a tv series! I dont think I have ever heard of a commercial turning into a series before.
WEIRD.

Ernest was originally a commercial pitchman for hire, and he parlayed that into a movie franchise.
Not sure about commercials to tv shows though.
edit: The article mentions that horrible baby, Bob and his stupid ass tv show.

Those commercials are honestly some of most clever comedy I've seen on network TV since AD. If the people who write the commercials write the show and they keep the same nuances and subtleties that make the commercials work, it could be great. But seeing as it'll be on network TV, who's sitcoms are prone to corporate interference and buttinskys, I wouldn't bet money on that.

networks need to realize that the 30 min 60 min structure doesnt always work 15 min is just perfect for some ideas

:lol

all the geico cavemen commercials

Thanks to shitty youtube video quality it's hard to see the body language and facial expressions on the actors, which really make these commercials funnier than just the jokes.
The little touches are so great.
The one caveman wearing a breezy, salmon colored jacket with an open collar to dinner.
The way the caveman at the therapist's office kinda scrunches his body together in a defensive, protective posture.
"I'll have the roast duck, with mango salsa"
The tennis racket bag on the caveman in the airport.
Great stuff.
That compilation also misses the most recent commercial which has one of the cavemen role playing with a caveman doll at the therapist's office. :rofl

"My mothers calling, I'll put it on speaker."
I don't know why but that cracks me up.
