I object...to that score.  :( Maybe it is a hidden part of the test for you to appeal it and then defend why you need a better grade.

meh, a 160 is good enough. Unless your GPA blows ass. You won't get into Yale or Stanford or anything, but you can still get into a top 30 law school.

Better than me. I'm hoping to be able to get into ASU, UNLV, or UA. Not even applying to any of the California schools, hell, not any of the top 30 schools, waste of money for me.

I'm Canadian and I only applied to schools in Ontario. MY LSAT and GPA are both below the median at all the schools in Ontario.

median, well that means they take people with lower scores and gpa's than the median. You still have a good shot.

LOL I know what the median is, but I'm also part of the late cycle of applicants.

It's a test the person who defends you in court once had to take.

no need to get all worked up just now. Have a few drinks, hit on some girls, and you'll forget about it by midnight. If the rejection letters come pooring in, then it's time to freak out. That's what I'm worried about since I'm far worse off than you are and I am late in the application cycle.

it is what it is. things will work out. I thought my life was over when I saw what my cumulative GPA was when LSAC included my transcripts from my first univeristy (a couple dropped classes counted as F's). Now I'm just dealing with it and what happens happens. At least I will have gotten an undergrad in something. I can try again next year, maybe even re-take the LSAT. Who knows, if I make the trip to Buenos Aires this year maybe I'll just stay there. Who knows.

I'm a pretty optimistic person, I believe things will work out eventually. I've seen it happen with family and friends.

I didn't intend for this post to be so long.

What schools have you applied to?

By the by I won't be hitting on any girls as I do worse with women than I do with standardized tests.  :'(
Can't drink either since I have to get these papers done.  :'( This sucks

In psych class we all took a personality tests on optimism and then the class average was calculated. My score wasn't counted since it was such an outlier.

Father_Mike I've taken the test three times, only once scored lol. I don't want to do it again.

I might take it again in September if I want to try at it again for next year.

AZ state, U of AZ, UNLV, Gonzaga, and U of Denver. the last 2 are private and way out of my price range, but if I have no other choice I'll try to make them work.

That blows!
I often find it fun to get piss drunk on occasions like this and hit on the most attractive women I come across, not because I think I have a chance but because it's kind of fun to hear/see/feel their reactions, leads to good stories and you never know, one of  them might be into it.

You have a pretty good chance at getting into those schools. Man you Americans have a lot of law schools.

FUCKING EXACTLY!

People wonder why they never have many girls or never get the good looking ones, IT'S BECAUSE YOU DON'T FUCKING TRY!  Just put yourselves out there.  You're bound to get a few.

It's not about being a "pimp", baby boo.  It's about putting yourself out there for rejection and acceptance.  There's always going to be the women who laugh in your face or just tell you no.  But I guarantee, there's that one that will say yes.  Who knows, she could be the one to really make you happy.  But you'll most likely never find out unless you put yourself out there.

Maybe you'll get lucky with your applications, you never know! I obviously don't know anything about this but I think an 82 is pretty good and a 3.3 is nothing to shake your head at.

82 Percentile is bad now?
If I scored 4 points higher I would have been in the 91st percentile. It makes a big difference.

Look at this chart for Queen's.

I would have likely been accepted with a 164, but with 160 it is very unlikely.

By the way, did you notice that those scoring below the 75th percentile are not even listed?

Side note:
About 10 percent of the students admitted to Saskatchewan had LSAT's below the 40th percentile.  :lol
