You know what, I can't really name a current band and say that one band is my favorite. I have favorite bands, such as Tool and Audioslave.

Picking a favorite band of all time is easier than picking a current one. In that case it's Pink Floyd and Zeppelin.

I don't like a good chunk of The Stones stuff either, but pre-1973 is fucking brilliant.  Not to mention the great Some Girls a few years later.

Seriously? I saw them in concert when I was like 13 and it was AWESOME. It was my first experience in a mosh pit, and I:
- was kicked in the face
- was punched in various places
- had beer spilled on me
- had red slushie spilled on me
- got knocked onto the ground where I stayed in the fetal position
- was helped up by the cutest boy ever who was wearing a green Operation Ivy shirt
- crowdsurfed

That was probably the most fun I ever had at a concert.

For the longest time my favorite band was the Aquabats, but I think I got burned out seeing them play the same set every month after awhile. Their reluctance to play older stuff live is kind of a bummer too. Plus all the annoying OC kids that I just want to punch.

My favorite band of the month is Ted Leo and the Pharmacists.

I always seem to be busy whenever they're somewhere close enough for me to go see them. I'm not beating myself up over not seeing them, but I think they'd be fun to see. So many of the good ska bands broke up before I knew about them.
