Could anyone tell me where I could find information on the net about how much a company spends in each department?  Is that considered public information?

Would that be in SEC filings, press releases or financial reports?

I'd say different companies spend different amounts in different departments, so what company or type of company are you looking for?

well i'm more or less asking if that kind of information is presented in SEC filings or public financial reports.
