I was so close to using nenkyu but decided to stick it out. One can only go through random Wikipedia entries and read forums for so long, however. I'd try to watch something on Peekvid or Youtube, but I forgot my headphones today. Sux.

Some of the teachers asked me "oh, you're not going to come to the practice?" and I said "no, sorry, I don't understand why you have to keep practicing for something that everyone except for the first-year kids knows exactly what do to in every year over and over again." After which I asked if I had to go and was told it was fine to stay in the (warm) teachers' room, and one of them said he wished he could stay here too, but of course teachers have to go stand there and do nothing.

Guess I'll study some Kanji.

Its fucking ridiculous the amount of practicing and shit they do for ceremonies over here. I went to one at my school here which was for something completely distinguished mentally-challenged like 'celebrating the students starting work experience' or some shit, and they made the students practice bowing for something like 30 minutes before the thing started. I want to yell at people so much when it comes to bullshit like this.

We only practice for graduation one day before the actual graduation...and we had graduation last week, so that's over with. Today the kids had exams, so all I'm doing is sitting here and doing some reading, basically killing time until the end of the work day. I went out to lunch and came back a little while ago...now I'm just watching the ticking clock until 4:15 at which point I am FREE.
