Don't get me wrong, I like (and loathe) the holiday season as much the next person, but this is going too far.
While hanging out with some friends last night, we noticed that they were playing Christmas songs maybe every sixth song or so. And today while at Costco, I saw that they have Christmas stuff up already.
IT'S AUGUST!! :punch

Costco always puts their Christmas stuff out very early.

True, but I don't remember seeing it this early. It seems to be getting earlier and earlier. Most stores used to wait until after Halloween, which I thought was bad enough. But now it's common to see stuff in September. :punch

Well, people prepare massive amounts of money to buy school furnitures, so when mommy and poppy go there with many dollar bills in their wallet... they might do the convenient thing and buy Christmas stuff as discount while they can. It's a couple purchases more for stores.

Xmas tree shit is already in my local drug stores, costco has had Xmas shit out for two months now, and cards are showing up along with wrapping paper. WTF come on after Halloween not before people...

It really bothers me to see Christmas products and hear Christmas music before Halloween. I don't even like it until after Thanksgiving really. December is for Christmas. November is for Thanksgiving, and October is for Halloween. Please don't create a potpourri of holidays.

I hear ya. Christmas shit is popping up in a bunch of stores by me, too. They'll probably start putting the crap out in June next year. Shit, why not make it year round! >:(

Wow, I was bitching about seeing Halloween costumes the other day.
