Title: Friday Box Office Numbers In....Snakes On A Plane IS....
Post by: Cheebs on August 26, 2006, 07:11:19 PM: 8th!!!! :lol :lol :lol The limited release IDLEWILD(only under a 1000 theaters) and older films such as Little Miss Sunshine, Accepted, Step Up, & Talledega Nights beat it.

Pretty big drop. It also had very weak legs during Mon-Thrus and the now extremely horrible second friday has sealed its fate to not ever make back its budget.

You don't go to the theater for this type of movie, especially at full ticket price. I think it's going to do very well on DVD.

How can it make nearly 10 more million when it can't even make 2 million on a friday? PD you are hoping for the impossible. Even the biggest SOAP supporters accept it wont make back its budget in theaters.
