Okay, I own the first three seasons of 24, and recently I have been rewatching them with my family. At the end of seson 2, President Palmer shakes hands with some woman who has some plastic thing on her hand that makes his hand get all messed up and he collapses.
Now, it has been a while since I watched season 3, but am I correct that they never really explain what the fuck happened there? So my question is, what the fuck DID happen there?
I have only ever seen the first three seasons, I'm planning to catch up on them eventually.
-
He was poisoned dude whats there to explain. I missed most of season 3. At least the early episodes.
-
Well yeah, but at season 3 President Palmer is back to normal and the incident is never referred to or followed up on.

uhh, welcome to the world of 24? :P
we never find out who Nina was working for that was referred to in Season 1.
We never find out anything about the guys who were "really" behind the plot in Season 2.
They've kinda explained the bluetooth group from Season 5, but obviously in a kind of hokey way.
-
Yeah 24 has some horrible plot holes. The fact that they just try to run away from the plot holes I find funny. They already are doing that with season 6 with audrey dying in china.

SONOFABITCH
I haven't seen season 6 yet. FUCK!
to answer the OP. She's an assassin, in season 3 Palmer will often glance at his scarred hand and get a very serious look on his face. Apparently was almost killed by it.
The assassin makes another appearence later on the series in season 4. She's a freelancer or something.
F you G

sorry man theres no spoilers tag thing
-
Oh, they did take out the spoiler tag. Why? :/
-
We had an upgrade that messed a few things up. But back to 24 anyone like the first two season better than these last 4?
-
I think there was something that covered the time between seasons 2 and 3. Maybe the game did, or a comic? Can't recall.
-
Game happens between seasons 2-4 if i'm not mistaken. I never got a chance to play it.
-
I never played it either, but Wikipedia says it was between 2 and 3.
"5 months after the events of season two and thirty-one months before those shown in season three," to be exact. So there you go.
-
I'll have to check it out. I heard it was horrible
-
Wasn't Nina working for the same people behind the terrorist attack of season 2? I thought that was why they needed to pull her out of custody to find Sayid Ali or whatever his name was.

The game doesn't really do a good job at explaining it either. IIRC Palmer is still recovering from it (he’s in a wheelchair) and the Vice President is acting as President. They don’t really explain anything more than that.
Some other things from the game, the terrorist try to kill the Vice President and they start an earthquake by putting a nuke in the ground and blowing it up. The bad guy from season 2 is trying to destroy America because Americans killed his family or some dumb shit like that. Horrible game, I highly recommend it if you enjoy torturing yourself. The storylines for the game are even more distinguished mentally-challenged than Season 6. At least it has Almedia and Palmer, even though Palmer is barely in it.
Oh, I forgot one thing, Kim gets kidnapped again! Shocking I know...
-
Yeah, the game is REALLY bad. Its done by the same team who does the atrocious The Getaway series, right? Its a good litmus test for exactly how much you like 24, if you can stand to play the damn thing, you're a friggin superfan.
and I'm apologizing to G. I shouldn't be that harsh, and its not his fault the dang spoiler code doesn't work anymore (mods please fix thanx k bye).

It sucks finding out like that, especially with 24, where the lure of what will happen next is the biggest draw. I'm normally really paranoid, but I was fucking about on Wikipedia while back, and there was something in the Audrey entry that was like 'there are rumours that Audrey died between the 5th and 6th season, since the actress that plays her will not be returning to the show'.
Uh...fuck. Thanks, Internet idiots. At least G was talking about something that had already been revealed on the show...
-
Forget it that game sounds so horrible i dont want to play it. Sounds like shit.
I'm sorry about spoilers though. And I hate when they announce someones not returning before the episodes have shown whats going on. And with even regular news getting in on that stuff it gets annoying as hell. Lost has been ruined and greys anatomy cause of the fucking news.
