I have the biggest thing for The Drones. They're Australian, noisy and utterly brilliant.

I spent a little bit of time checking through their site yesterday (or, more accurately, last night while I should have been working) and noticed that there's a heap of live and rare mp3s there, which are well worth a listen. Here's my highlights:

Live cover of Chuck Berry's The Downbound Train (http://thedrones.com.au/audio/01.mp3)

Live recording of their song 'You Really Don't Care' on Melbourne radio (http://thedrones.com.au/audio/06.mp3)

Studio recording of 'The Miller's Daughter' from their outtakes album of the same name (http://thedrones.com.au/audio/the%20miller's%20daughter.mp3)

Studio recording of 'She Had An Abortion That She Made Me Pay For' from the same album (http://thedrones.com.au/audio/she%20had%20an%20abortion%20that%20she%20made%20me%20pay%20for.mp3)

What a band, eh?
