Title: I wish they'd stop selling FullScreen

God damnit stores put fullscreen up front and I grab it cause fuck id think people want widescreen up front now I have a fullscreen children of men and I already ripped up and tossed the receipt. GOD DAMN THEM NOT ME! I SHOULDNT HAVE TO BE RESPONSIBLE!

I usually don't even notice after I've been watching for 5 minutes, either way. Why would you rip up the receipt? At least then you could dig through the garbage and grab it if it bothers you that much :lol

I notice cause my tv is widescreen, so it looks fucking stupid. As for the receipt, I didnt notice until this morning, and I tend to destroy loose pieces of paper lying around my house cause wtf clean

I accidentally picked up the full screen version of Casino Royale. It was a huge display of the special editions that came with a card set, and all of the ones I saw said widescreen. So I picked one up that didn't have any creases in the packaging and bought it, only to get home and find out that I grabbed a full screen.  :-\

I did end up returning it for the last widescreen version they had though.

fullscreen Children of Men?  Ouch, that's like getting a PG-version of Goodfellas.

I hate the new format wars, but I'm quite glad that fullscreen will die off when DVD's do.  Of course that's still years away, and the DVD market is getting more mass market all the time (more Wal-Mart-ized, if you will), which means even more fullscreening shit enroute.

Cant wait till they are all gone. I bought Casino Royale fullscreen on accident. Fucking tiny ass print. Thank god the next format will be exclusively widescreen. God knows what resolution it'll be at.

I just watched Children of Men, not as good as the book. Prestige was a better movie.
