Here's the funny thing - I remember reading that exact, same print of The Dark Half in elementary school. Same cover and everything. It's one of my few and favorite King novels (plus, the film adaptation was directed by Romero), probably somewhere behind Salem's Lot and It, so that was a cool pick up for sure. The other wickedly awesome thing is that (and Disposable White Guy can verify this), I refuse to watch Friday the 13th movies in anything other than VHS format nowadays. The quality of the VHS adds to the 80s nostalgia for me and the DVD transfers can removes some of that cheesy 80s luster. So, again, wicked cool pick up. The books and stuff will come in handy, and I can't wait to watch the VCDs. Also, I'm going to pick up some fresh batteries for LIGHTS OUT.

whew, no fleshlights.

That was in G's package.

Glad you enjoy the package. Nikki really helped out with the themes on them, so she was responsible for you getting a ton of horror stuff. I also made sure you got the film books, because, well, you're Will Federman.
Oh, and the dwarves are from Nikki. There's something from her in the other two packages as well, though I can't recall who got what.

Haha, I figured. I used to love the Disney Happy Meal toys when I was younger and I'm sure my girlfriend will get a kick out of 'em when she comes over later.
-
Oh, put in The Dead Next Door later and let me know how shitty the quality is.
-
I'll try it when I go over to my girlfriend's house later. I don't have access to a regular DVD player here, and I'm sure on a 19" high-res LCD it'll look like poo coming off my PC.
-
This was a great idea. Cool shit, Ecro.
-
Willco and I are going to hold hands and go through the stuff tonight.

I'll probably look like poo on the worst SDTV ever made, too. There were a ton of problems with it being a PAL interlaced avi. Converting it over to DVD, regardless of how I tried, only made the interlacing all that more apparant :(
I've got a proper DVD copy of it now though that I picked up from DeepDiscountDVD.

Haha, I remember Lights Out.

Friday the 13th on shitty old VHS casettes :O~~~~~~~~
Do you still have Payback on VHS too?
