The only game with better animation and gameplay is the DS-era Castlevania games. Discuss.

I was lucky enough to play this fine piece of work in an arcade (the same one that had Blazing Star and Raiden Jet Fighters, RIP Space Station).

The graphics are pretty awesome, its like a more tatical Metal Slug.  Yeah, its a great frikken game.  Its going to allegedly make a stateside release in the Tatio Legends 2 compilation, but other then SCEA's listing for it(http://www.us.playstation.com/PS2/Games/Taito_Legends_2) (http://www.us.playstation.com/PS2/Games/Taito_Legends_2)) not much else has been said.  I sure do hope its still coming.

Third Strike is still the pinnacle of 2D animation if you ask me...
