Ha, us Alaskans can be up even later then ya'all. :lol

but we do have a higher cost of living :-\
and the nations highest rates of depression and alcoholism (blame the 18-hour nights)
and for some reason country music is extremely popular here :duh
and we don't have any Krispy Kreme's
and we've got effing bears and other deadly animals abound

but still.  The time advantage works in my favor, unless I ever want to watch something televised live, or communicate with people in the lower 48, then it kinda sucks.

Man, I need to get outta here. :'(
