I might need to work on the sound a little bit more, but this is pretty much the final cut.

Well I tried watching it but halfway through it froze, as did my computer for some time. FUCK Quicktime
-
Weird, it works for everyone I sent it to.
-
i won't watch it until i read a willco or tvc-15 review
-
Lol is that the standard white syrup fake blood? I remember that stuff when I was helping a film student in AZ with a project.
-
I dont know what it was. I got a guy who does effects for lots of zombie projects. He had a bunch of blood and I liked the consistency and color of this.
-
I won't watch it until I read a TVC review.
-
That was pretty cool. I think the sounds are all fine (at least on first listen). My only issue is that the brain appears to be too small, but there's really nothing you can do about it at this point. And it's not even that much of a problem.
Have you thought about putting some sort of grain or "dirtying" filter on this? Nothing too drastic, but the cleanness of the look kinda strikes me as odd in comparison to the grimness of the subject matter and the sound design.
I liked it!
-
There is actually alot of grain already. You can see it alot better in the final version. I'm impressed and flattered that TVC likes it.
-
Yeah, that was actually good.
You want my real advice? Find the agency that does the Short Screamers for AMC Monsterfest. It used to be open to the public, by now they solicit privately and air shorts made way in advance. So look now! That would be a great venue for a short like this and a lot of exposure.
And yeah, I think the grain is fine. It has a good look.
-
Thanks alot guys, yall are making me blush... :-*
-
not bad at all good sir.
-
WELL I THINK IT SUCKS! GO BACK TO THE SCHOOL OF ARMAGEDDON/BADBOYS AND ASK FOR YOUR MONEY BACK
-
Didn't really do anything for me.
-
Wow, I liked it too. Nice work, FoC.
-
Very nice. how did you get it to look like the string was in hia nose?
-
Its just a bunch of string in his nose and different shots.
-
I need to see this when I get home. FoC, when you're a Hollywood big shot like Brett Ratner, don't forget about me. :-*
-
Dude, that was pretty good. I know I give you shit a lot but thumbs up!
In your regards to your next student film and what you've told us, it sounds like something Evilbore collectively needs to get high to see and appreciate (pinatas and kids lolz) so yeah, I'm actually sort of looking forward to it now.
-
NO EVILBORE IN CREDITS???
-
Now this I liked.
-
I thought it was pretty shitty. What was this like a project or did you think oh I'm going to spend my free time on this bs?
-
Just saw it. Thought it was pretty good! You're on your way, dude.
-
i honestly couldn't get through it. too much blood :-\
-
I can host it here if you want, FoC.
-
Hold, up on hosting it. I want to finish it up and then submit it to some festivals. Should it be posted on neogaf and see what people think?
-
It was kinda nice, but the idea isn't an original one. There was a short commercial for the SciFi channel that was the same thing, only when the guy pulls a loose seem on his shirt, his whole body starts to come undone. Good try, but you can do better. The brain scooting away at the end was just stupid as was the character's name. "Jacarri?"
-
That wasnt the character's name. That was the actor's real name. Why would I even bother giving the character a name?
