I got season one for Christmas, but have yet to watch the whole thing. I plan on buying season two sometime this week because I've loved the little I've seen of the show up till now.

Watch season 2, Himuro.  Season 2 rape rapes the first season as far as quality episodes go.

My favorite first season ep is probably Ghosts of the Sargasso, Eeny Meeney Miney Magic, Mid-Life Chrysalis, or Return to Spider Skull Island.

Favorites in season 2 are. . .well, all of them are waaaaaaaay better than everything in the first season, with the exceptions of Love Bheits and Guess Who's Coming to State Dinner, which are both still good eps.

There's plenty of Doctor Girlfriend.  One of the main stories of the season is The Monarch trying to win her back.

It just made no sense why Dr. Venture was all emotional and shit at the beginning and then near the end you find out he just makes clones of the boys.

How does it not make sense?  He's an insane drug addict.  I think you're reading a little too much into a neat intro sequence.  Once he's back at the Venture compound it's all back to business.  The deaths are just an excuse for him to go nuts for a while.

It's crazy how much better the show got as it went along.  The pilot is awful, and the first episode of the series proper isn't really any good either, but once it gets to Are You There God? It's Me, Dean it just hits on all cylinders and doesn't look back.  The last two episodes of S1 and first two of S2 taken together are way more fun than any movie I can think of the past few years.

Kind of reminds me of early X-Files, where the long-term continuity episodes (in this case, stuff with the Monarch, the Guild, Dr. Girlfriend, etc.) are better than the one-offs (Twenty Years to Midnight, Love Bheits, Guess Who's Coming to State Dinner), but TVC's right.  Once you're in the second season, it's all good.

I really didn't like this show when I watched the first couple of episodes, but luckily there was nothing else to watch on tv at that time so I had nothing else to watch.

I'm finding myself liking the main storyline episodes (the ones with Monarch and Dr. Girlfriend) to be the best episodes.

something we dont know, but it will no doubt rock.

I've come to the assumption that Hank is a clone of Brock, and Dean is a clone of Rusty. And that the realy brother is the Monarch. Dont ask but it makes sense to me for some reason.
