Title: Legendary Pictures Said Superman Returns Is Profitable + Will Finance Sequel

Legendary(who co-financed SR with WB) seems pleased with the results and is on board to finance the sequel which the President of WB not long ago said the sequel is going to be out in 2009 with Singer still aboard.

So now it seems like both companies are ready to pay Singer for another piano throwing kid sequel.

Does this mean Willco will never get to write his Superman film? :(

Ultimate question: Will Willco be there opening night to witness the further adventures of Super kid?

I agree. Superman Returns was awesome. WB should let Singer do 50 more.
