Title: The spring Xbox backwards compat update is FUCKING AWESOME

The latest 360 bc update is fucking AWESOME. I won't be needing my Xbox anymore and once I get my 360 I'll just put it in the closet. My favorite Xbox games are on this list.

Panzer Dragoon Orta
Phantom Dust
Spiderman 2
SFAC
King of Fighters Neowave
Mercenaries
JSRF
Breakdown
Soul Calibur 2
Murakamo

Now if only they'd get us a lil' SNK lovin' and Outrun 2. But whatev.

SC2 has been BC for some months now. Props for Orta and Phantom Dust, but I dont see RSC2. Fail.

Shit, I need to pick up a copy of Phantom Dust still... never got around to it. But fantastic news that PDOrta, JSRF and SFAC are backwards compatible... any word on Outrun 2 or Silent Hill 2?

Phantom Dust single player has pacing issues. You find yourself doing tutorial missions for forever.

Orta BC has some artifacting in CG movies, and some of the colors look washed out, im at 720p tho

So do Xbox games really look better on the 360 because they are rendered at HD resolutions?  My friend borrowed all my Xbox1 games when school started so I don't know how well 360's BC works.

Seems to depend on the game.  Most of the recent BC games I've tried have, unfortunately, either small graphic glitches, slowdown, or both.  I also hate how the non-widescreen games don't have an option to be stretched; boarders suck.   :-\

This is the update that shows they are definitely listening at the very least. I've been having a HUGE blast playing SF 3 online again, and there's tons of games to be had, all 360 owners.

I haven't given PDO a try yet, maybe later though.

Can someone please post some pictures of PD:Orta in HD?  I want to see what it looks like before trying to hunt down a copy.  My friend said he can't find my copy.  I would have beaten his ass down if not for the fact that I traded in some of his xbox1/dreamcast games in the past.

I'll definately get a 360 once I get a decent TV. 360 will look like absolute dogshit on my flats old 60" rear projection number.
