Title: So, I'm going to direct a scene in a student film on Monday.

I've never done anything like this before, and it's for someone else's project. It isn't anything major either (we are filming it with a Handycam) but still, I'm pretty damn nervous.

I'm not expecting cinematic brilliance, but this helps give me some experience in a field I'm planning to get into.

HOPEFULLY I DON'T FUCK THIS GUY'S PROJECT UP WITH MY INEXPERIENCE

What's the scene? Are the actors real actors, or "Friends" what are you shooting on and what is your crew?

Also, why did you friend ask you to direct? Usually that is not a good sign.
