Outside of the little stuff I do with friends every now and then, I have no social life. I'm a natural loner though. I don't like going into big crowds usually, and I enjoy my own company. Does that make me a loser? Not really.

What makes me a loser is that I'm scared to come out of box at times. Everyone who actually knows me thinks I'm hilarious, but I don't have the confidence to display that side of me in public unless I feel comfortable. So many consider me to be very quiet and almost aloof.

I don't go out much but recently I've tried to fix this problem. I would give myself a D if I hadn't done anything with friends recently, but thankfully I have. Drinking games using video games can be a blast.

Eh, thinking over my response, I could probably have just given myself a D. I really need to get out more.

i've been with this one for a while now and i don't see a change in the near future. most of the other ones were friends, friends of friends, or girls I'd ask out on my normal rounds of the day (restaurants, work, etc.). I don't actually go out very often. Going out is my definition of a social life.

Right now, I'm at a B. I don't associate with too many people during the week, but I started a film club on campus in the last few months, and I'm on my way to getting a girlfriend (I'm probably going to ask her out whenever we go see Spider-Man 3.)

So yeah, while I don't associate with many people at my college, the ones I do associate with are through a social club I created. I think that's enough to get a B.

You can reserve rooms in the library. Also, there's a professor who's in charge of the official school film viewing room that is considering being a sponsor if we become an official campus club, which is mainly what I am going to work on doing this summer.

We have a lot of interest that may lead to about 10-15 people being in it in the fall. Right now we have around 6-7 people, with one actually letting me work on a student film of his in the next few weeks (it was originally supposed to be tonight, but where we are going to be filming closed early and our reservation was terminated as a result).

So far we've only watched Children of Men, but I want us to watch Seven Samurai, the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, and El Mariachi before the end of the semester.

CrystalGemini and I get along great - we really like hanging out with one another, and we eat with her family on the weekends. Now that I'll have some money, thanks to freelance contract design work and my new employment at everyone's favorite neighborhood video game retailer, we can do more activities. I'm moving forward with my schooling, and I've got a great roommate in Chris, who is also a blast to kick some drinks with. My work guys look like they'll be good too.

Happily married to my wife, have a great group of friends whom we get together with almost every weekend. We also play on dodgeball and mini golf teams with those same friends. I get along very well with my parents and relatives. I absolutely love my job, get along with my coworkers and all the kids know me by name (Mr. George), like having lunch with me in my office and always want me to go play with them out at recess. I honestly can't complain.

It's not that good for me right now. I rarely hang out with anybody because like I said before, I've basically completely abandoned past friends because most of them were bad influences. I'm a social guy. I have no problems talking with people, and I have the cajones to ask a girl out. Hell I've been laid multiple times.

Right now, however, is very stressful time for me, and I'm not really willing to pull anyone iinto my life of bullshit. I want to distance myself until I'm better. There's nothing worse than getting involved with people during the worst times of your life, because you look like a total failure, a disappointment. Until I better myself, I want to keep it this way.

Usually I spent most of the weekends doing whatever with friends. The usual bullshit. After a day or two of being around people constantly I pretty much want to just kick it by myself. I enjoy my own company every bit as much as others, so I sometimes do like to chill in the house all day and browse forums and Wikipedia, or read a book.

When I do have to be social I can. I've probably got some communication problems (It takes a bit for me to express my thoughts verbally), but no disorders or anxiety or anything like that. I'm just not a fan of the usual small talk bullshit. Sometimes I like everyone being quiet and just relaxing.

The only reason I don't get out of the house as much as I want to sometimes is because I've yet to get my license. I also need a job. Those are the only real obstacles in my social life though. I have friends. lol.

I don't understand this logic. High School memories are complete crap compared to college/mid 20's memories. Those are the memories that will define you for the rest of your life.

I'e already hit that and I'm 20 kinda odd.

Most of my major friends are people in a similar situation (fucked up early in life and paying for it now), a few of them are just people that understand my situation.

work friends are people that if you talk to them after work, you end up talking about the asshole who's been stealing shit from the lunch room and you never go into personal life details.

My coworkers are all 35+ year old female school teachers... I socialize with them in the lounge at lunch, but we really don't have much in common.
