once again, that's Jet Li, Takeshi Kaneshiro, and Andy Lau.
The film is set in the 1860s, during the Taiping Rebellion in the late Qing Dynasty in China. The story, based on an unresolved crime, tells of three sworn brothers (played by Andy Lau, Jet Li and Takeshi Kaneshiro) who turn on one another over a beautiful woman (Xu Jinglei).
it will apparently be a more analog, less flashy answer to all those fancy-dancy wuxia flicks China's been pumping out lately. It also means Jet Li finally got a role where he won't likely kick anybody in the face, should be interesting.
Coming out in December, won't hit legit DVD til Feburary, American screens till next Spring at earliest. This isn't even the offical trailer, its a promo reel meant to attract international sales, I don't think that was going to be much of a problem anyway. HOT EXTRAS MILLING ABOUT ACTION GET!

I thought Jet Li said that Fearless was going to be his last movie

I think he said his last martial arts epic

I thought Jet Li said that Fearless was going to be his last movie
he said it was going to be his last Wushu (specific form of martial art) movie, which the western press (and marketing departments) picked up as his "Last Kung-Fu Epic". It was believed that he wasn't going to do anymore period martial arts action films anymore.
This appears to be more of a drama then a straight action flick anyway, so he's still off the hook. But just barely.

Ah, so it was his last Wuxia.
