I can't remember the last time a movie made me laugh so hard in public.  I nearly barfed my phad thai.

I didn't even smile at those clips. Utterly horrible. He's almost as annoying as Will Farrel and that's saying a lot

I'd probably have to think about it, but probably when the monkey peed on his face.

man, the bit where the monkey pisses all over ben stiller's character had me in hysterics. and the romance between teddy and pocahontas moved me like children of men really couldn't.

when it comes to writing and delivery, night at the museum > children of men

Ben Stiller is cut of the same cloth of Will Farrel - although Farrel is still the most disgusting of that ilk.

FERREL WITH A E.

And my favorite part in night at the museum is ANYTHING with teddy. Robin Williams will forever be teddy Roosevelt in my mind.

I absolutely hated Robin Williams going into this (the first time), especially when I found out he was playing one of my favorite presidents.  I came out of the theatre hating him slightly less.  It was definitely a decent, well-played, and researched portrayal of Teddy.

Also, I forgot Mickey Rooney was in this.  He's awesome.  I thought he was dead, but he's still fucking funny.

Oh, and Vince's new agent in Entourage, Carla whatever hottest chick ever, is also in this.

you really aren't gonna find comedy movies much more clever and better directed and acted than this, these days. night at the museum really deserved its success, unlike children of men.

The director of Night at the Museum has been handed the directing duties for the Flash movie, so I hope this bodes well for that.

I haven't seen it, but if Drinky and TVC 15 honestly enjoyed it, it must be good.

What about Ricky Gervais as the annoyed owner? He was uptight but it was funny because he was british and we all know british people are uptight so it was easy to understand the joke.

Indeed, it proves conclusively that dinosaurs are just creations of the secular cabals that control the world.

I knew Drinky was playing around, but I honestly thought TVC and Cheebs were serious - given their horrible taste.

Our horrible taste?  You hated Unforgiven and Blade Runner.  You like sappy bullshit.

I didn't hate Blade Runner, but I hated Unforgiven.

To Kill A Mockingbird is a classic movie. I don't "hate" many classics, if any lol. Even my problems with 2001 were mainly manufactured to annoy people

yeah, as a tom hanks and tom cruise fan -- and as a newbie cinemaphile who puts forrest gump in his top 10 -- you really don't have the credentials to accuse other people of poor taste, pd.

tvc's tastes run a little -- okay, a lot -- more eccentric than mine, but there's no doubt that he knows what makes a great movie and what makes a bad one on a very refined level. he certainly has more experience as a cinemaphile and a critical eye than 99% of this form, myself included. now go do as your told, and watch night at the museum, because that movie was MADE FOR YOU.

It's not my fault Unforgiven is forgettable trash and Blade Runner is worse than Minority Report.

if unforgiven is forgetable why did it go down as one of the most important movies of the 1990's? It will be a film studied for 50+ years by film freaks.

So is Gone With the Wind, and that's utter shit.

Dude, To Kill a Mockingbird isn't even for adults.  Saying it is your favorite movie is like saying The Berenjew Bears Learn Incest is Wrong is your favorite book in the english language.

You're a worse troll than me and willco combined, PD.  Gone with the Wind isn't my bag, but if you can watch that movie and then call it a piece of shit, you have absolutely no room to criticize any movie.
