Title: PS3 is one motherfuckin lousy DVD player -- AKA RIP X360

God damn if its not the menus popping up at random its the unpredictable chapter jumps for no reason. Plus it doesnt upscale which is gay wtf. I only had to start using it as one because the 360 gave up last night.

Not that I didnt see this coming. I use my 360 more than anyone I know, I mean its been through every tv series i own on DVD at least once, that includes the 10 seasons of stargate. Then there's all the gaming I did on it, all the music and video I streamed to it. Unfortunately since it served such a vital role in my entertainment center replacing it is going to be sorta a REQUIREMENT. I've got a replacement plan, but im eye-in that elite unit :D

supposedly it fixes the crappy GPU-to-bus soldering issue that causes the red ring of death. you can try the towel trick on the old 360, but since you have a replacement plan, why bother really.

yeah just not sure how the replacement plan jives with UPGRADES. Tho I spose an extra 360 wouldnt hurt to have around.

I only had 1 360 break. I have it hooked up through VGA so it upscales. Don't really see the need for an elite at this point, but I might get one when I get a new TV with more HDMI inputs.

360 is a really good upscalling dvd player. The PS3 however...well...AT LEAST I HAVE VIRTUA FIGHTER 5 :(

I dunno, considering the hours I put on my X360, it did its duty. Its not like the PS2/PS3 where I ONLY use them for gaming.
