So yeah. But I think it has something to do with Microsoft fucking me with a broken system and then not extending the warranty on it like they did on EVERY OTHER XBOX CONSOLE. Something about that makes it easier to see why I am leaning towards watching more movies as of late.

why didn't they extend your warranty? all warranties should have been extended to a year.

Post by: BlueTsunami on April 29, 2007, 07:59:50 PM: I've been bored with it for a while now. I think it has to do with me wanting to play games on the go instead of plop down in front of my TV for hours on end. This is why I've put more time into my PSP than my 360.

I think my interest will be rejuvinated once the more mature (as in developing time being invested into) next gen games come about. This will begin with GTAIV!

I do this too. The only games I've beaten are the ones I consider my favorites.

yeah me too. Games like Metal Gear Solid or FF are always played from beginning till end but the rest.... I don't know, I have never been that interested in endings. For me it's really all about the game itself. If I had fun with it its good. I dont need to see some lame ending.

What had happened was I had started to buy shitty games based on presentation and not games with good GAMEPLAY. I had forgotten how much fun it was to get mhy ass kicked by a shmup or have some fucker headshot me ten times in a row before I finally got him. Now I'm fully enjoying games again.

I love every genre; I may not like all the game types in all of them (for instance, I can't stand sim racers but love arcade racers) but I've found that with experimentation you WILL find something to like.

Sometimes I'm feeling like playing an rpg, another time I'm up for some arcade gameplay, sometimes I need some fps gaming, and other times I may feel like going through a story so I pick up an adventure game.

I find that variety adds to ones tastes, and the more variety you experience, the more you start to love games. Variety is key. If all you play are rpgs, or sports games, or whatever game genre, then yeah you're going to get bored. But if you go into games open minded, treat them all as if they're average (because a truly GREAT and classic game is rare) then you'll find yourself enjoying A LOT more games than before.

If you aren't enjoying games, perhaps you need to lower your expectations, go on a break from them, or quit games altogether depending on your situation.

Same here. Sometimes you also just need a break, or you need to try something new instead of playing the same type of game over and over again.

It's been more than a week my dear sweet japafag<3.

Also Drinky Nintendo said awesome Zelda controls!! :( - honestly I haven't touched the wii in forever I really should sell it, but I still have hope for Mario Galaxy...after that it's gone if it dissapoints.

I was in a funk for a few weeks and then loaded up an old PC strategy favorite of mine (Seven Kingdoms 2) and that fixed things up just right.

PC gaming keeps me going, it's awesome given my tastes and given the amount of play time I have it fits the bill just right.

Every now and then, on a Friday afternoon when everyone else is at work, I'll sit down and play an RPG or something a bit more involved. Maybe its just that the weather is nicer and you'd rather be outside than playing games...? I'm like that lately.

Actually its like 8.5 now and climbing towards 9 million. BC gave the game a healthy membership boost.

gaming starting to lose fun for me too... so much work all the time and no play makes play not as fun... you'd think it'd be the other way around but no it's not. whew glad i have a goddess for a wife ;)

Although to an extent, I can't understand why I have some problems getting into FFXII. :( I do think I'm a little too into video games, since I own over 670 video games across 22 consoles/portables, and many of those games I barely played due to time.
