Best episode of the series and no one posts?
:(

Hardly the best episode of the series.
Typical stuff if you're knowledgable about the X-men storyline that has inspired this cliche' 1000 x. Plus The Watchmen inspirations make it pretty familiar, thus, not particularly interesting stuff.
The best part of the episode was the plot twist involving Sylar. Oh, and future Hiro.

meh. I hate what if episodes.

Yeah. You're like,"well, it's in the future, who cares about the characters if it's not in the present time line?"

That was the nerdiest post Ive read in a while. Also, you guys suck. Its a toss up between this and "Company Man" for the best episode of the series for me.

Come on dude. We're talking about a tv series that's obviously inspired by a ton of comic books. You can't tell me the series doesn't boil with nerdiness?
-
Ive never read a comic book in my life. So this means jack to me.

Company man is slightly better, but this was still an awesome episode.
And of course this series is brimming over with nerditude, that's what makes it awesome IMO. Sometimes I'll get pissed at stuff like "oh, Hiro and Ando show up the day before 'Nathan's' speech, and somehow Parkman has time to go from NYC to Texas to NYC and do a shit ton of stuff in the span of half a day? Come on now." but then I remember that it's basically a comic book on tv and don't give a shit.

Even then, a lot of the stuff that came from the X-men has been done so many times, not to mention in non comic book stories. All the heroes in the future get fucking murdered or are imprisoned. Someone goes back in time to warn them so they can stop something that's a catalyst for their deaths and the world's future. They are hunted, usually treated like 3rd class citizens. The main characters in the present time line have to find some way to save the future.
It's been done to death, and it was obvious ever since future Hiro's appearance that they'd take the series in that direction, so the episode wasn't much of a shocker for me, especially the whole "kill all special people" bill, which felt all too familiar.
Good episode tho.

You sound like Pee Dee. That is most assuredly not a compliment.

Hell yes, that was bad ass.

We now understand why they must save the cheerleader and keep her protected. Shes one of the few that has ultimate powers like hiro, molly, and peter. But peter and sylar are very similar. Cant wait for next weeks episode. Too bad they wont be in the future with badass peter.
-
Present Peter is getting badass himself.
-
He doesnt look battled yet though and i thought that future peter looked awesome, he's obviously been through some shit. One thing i didnt think about was if Sylar can take powers from dead heroes. Theres a lot that was going on during that whole episode.
-
peter= neo in the future
-
peter= neo in the future
You got that vibe too? :lol
-
please dont remind me of the matrix. The first was good the rest was shit.
-
Why couldnt Pete have been cool like this all along? He went from emo boi to badass in a flash.
-
Yeah I used to hate Peter.
-
Thats what 5 years and a fucking war against your own kinds Genocide will do for ya. Fuck i wish i had a power damnit.
-

? Remember this was 5 years in the future. He had all that time to get hardened and learn exactly how to use his powers.
-
I know. But damn. Even the hair and the stubble. He actually looked like a man for once.

Sexing up Niki/Jessica finally made him into a man is my theory. Rawr.
