Title: What are you reading?
Post by: Himu on May 09, 2007, 04:50:52 PM
I am reading through a few titles right now in spurts, mainly Kurt Vonnegut since I love his books, and since he died I've been meaning to catch up on some stuff I've missed.

My reading table right now consists of:

Bluebeard
Timequake
The Sirens of Titan
Cat's Cradle (rereading)

Non Vonnegut I'm reading:

Cosmos And Community: The Ethical Dimension Of Daoism
China's Cultural Heritage: The Qing Dynasty, 1644-1912
Faith, Myth and Reason in Han China

I may start reading up on the Suikoden source material book, Water Margin, and Romance of the Three Kindgoms. Whichever comes first.

Yeah I had to cut down to two books at a time because with everything else that goes in a week I end up just forgetting large chunks.

Now that college is almost done, time to get to reading:

Most of my reading is pulp fiction.. nothing too spectacular.

Currently, I'm reading Cell by Stephen King, and I got a lot of his books I haven't read yet. I still haven't cracked Misery, and it's been several years since I read It (haven't read It since like seventh grade) so I will probably reread that as well.

Then, I will take two or three days to reread Harry Potter before the seventh book and then take suggestions from you guys.

Oh yeah, I will probably read The Children of Men by P.D. James since the movie kicked my ass. I've flipped through it, and yeah, definitely not too true to the movie.
